(WWJ) -- The COVID-19 pandemic put a damper on Fourth of July celebrations in 2020, but many communities across metro Detroit will have fireworks displays returning this week.
Detroit’s annual Ford Fireworks show was held Monday night, while the fireworks at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township are scheduled for Wednesday night.
Also starting Wednesday night will be the return of Greenfield Village’s Salute to America, back after a year hiatus, with a new twist. While the metro Detroit summertime tradition will look a little different this year, there will be a fireworks display for the finale.
