(WWJ) – Danielle Stislicki left her Southfield office on Dec. 2, 2016 as any typical Metro Detroiter would do on a Friday.

It’s now been more than five and a half years since anyone saw her alive.

Though her body has never been found, a security guard from Stislicki’s office – Floyd Galloway, Jr. – was charged with her murder. As he appeared in court on Monday, WWJ’s Zach Clark dove into the case, wondering: will we ever know what happened to Danielle Stislicki?

It was announced after the publishing of this podcast that Galloway’s trial had again been postponed until November.

The trial was supposed to begin next month, but Monday’s court hearing saw the prosecution and defense argue over an apparently controversial tip regarding Galloway’s polygraph test. Attorneys say the investigator that performed the test did not follow due process and divulged the results of the test with other police officials, ultimately leading to a search of Galloway’s home.

The conflict over this lie detector test has now pushed the trial back until Nov. 28. The trial had previously been delayed multiple times, mostly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
