LIVONIA (WWJ) -- A woman is suffering life-threatening injuries following a crash on I-275.
The accident happened just after midnight near 8 Mile Road on the border of Livonia and Northville.
Michigan State Police say a vehicle was speeding southbound when the driver lost control, went into the median, and then rolled over.
A man walked away from the crash, but was later located by first responders and taken to the hospital.
However, a woman was trapped inside the vehicle, and had to be cut from the wreckage. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in critical condition.
It is still unclear whether the man or the woman was driving at the time of the crash.
State Police are continuing the investigate the situation.
