DETROIT (WWJ) – An investigation is underway after a hit-and-run crash near Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit Saturday night left a woman dead.
Detroit police officials tell WWJ the incident happened just before 10:40 p.m. near the arena.
While many circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, officials believe the vehicle involved may have been a black Jeep Gladiator.
The victim was an unidentified woman, listed as a Jane Doe. Authorities did not say exactly where the hit-and-run happened.
No further information has been released and police are still investigating.
The Millennium Tour concert, featuring Bow Wow, Mario and Keri Hilson had let out around the time of the incident, according to a report from WXYZ.
