MUSSEY TWP. (WWJ) -- One person is dead and two are injured after a crash in Saint Clair County.
According to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday on Capac Road, near Donald Road, in Mussey Township.
Officials say a Dodge struck a car with two people inside -- who were not wearing seatbelts.
The collision caused both cars to overturn, which sent the Dodge into a power line pole and the other car, a Pontiac, into a field.
The 32-year-old female driver of the Pontiac died at the scene.
The 29-year old male passenger in the Pontiac as well as the driver of the Dodge were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
