(WWJ) The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is searching for a male gunman wanted in a shooting following a dispute between two women in Pontiac.
It happened Saturday afternoon, according to investigators, in the area of Crystal Lake Drive and Bagley Street.
A 31-year-old Pontiac woman told deputies that she'd gotten into an argument with a woman over a text message that the woman had sent her.
They agreed to meet so that they could “fight it out," and the victim took a 33-year-old Pontiac woman with her.
It was the 33-year-old woman who ended up wounded when the victims reported a man fired two or three shots at their car.
The victim, who was hit in the right leg, was treated at a local hospital and listed in stable condition. The other woman wasn't injured.
On Monday, OSCO said investigators were looking for two suspects.
The shooter was described as a thin Black male with long dreadlocks, wearing a black sweatshirt.
The other suspect was described only as a Black female.
The sheriff's office said detectives will be continuing with the investigation.
