WARREN (WWJ) -- A 38-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot multiple times during a carjacking in Warren on Friday morning.
Just after 3 a.m. at the Sunoco Gas Station on Eight Mile Road, between Mound and Ryan roads, the Livonia woman was shot three times while two suspects drove off in her car.
Sgt. Scott Isaacson with the Warren Police Department said the woman was found lying on the ground when they arrived on scene.
The woman is currently in surgery for her critical injuries.
Police tell WWJ, they are looking for the victim's vehicle, which is a 2015 Gray Nissan Altima with Michigan license plate ELB 3299.
The two suspects arrived in a white SUV -- possibly a GMC Envoy, said officials.
The motive is currently unknown as police are still investigating, reviewing surveillance video and following up on leads.
