While Canadians may be built for colder climates, it’s still the law that they wear clothes, and one appears to have put that law to the test last weekend when he ran past a police station naked in British Columbia, Canada.

According to weather forecasts, the temperatures had heated up at the time of the man’s afternoon jog at 3:15 p.m., with a high of 19 degrees Fahrenheit hitting the town of Kamloops.

The man was recorded while he was going for his run on a car’s dash cam. The video was eventually uploaded to social media later that day, but the man was quickly reported to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Eventually, officers were able to catch up with the man as he was passing by their department.

“Frontline officers located him as he ran past the North Shore community policing detachment,” RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn told local media outlets.

The man was then arrested and then taken to a local hospital by paramedics for an assessment.

“He was arrested and placed inside a warm police vehicle, then transported to cells, assessed by paramedics, and taken to the hospital for assessment,” Evelyn said.
