LSU is getting ready for a date in the Citrus Bowl against Purdue, a product of an impressive first season in the Brian Kelly era.
Even with back-to-back disappointing results to end the season, an SEC West title before even landing his own signing class in Baton Rouge was nothing if not ahead of schedule. But that 2023 class has been developing, and the long list of names started officially landing as of Wednesday morning.
Despite only one 5-star name on the list, the Tigers' 2023 class went into the day ranked No. 5, according to 247Sports, largely on the strength of the 18 4-star commits expected to make things official. The three-day early signing period began Wednesday morning.
