Another week, another bizarre set of circumstances for the Saints heading into a pivotal game. Stop us if you've heard this one before.
For a Week 16 showdown against the Miami Dolphins, it appears rookie quarterback Ian Book will get the start with Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian, among several others, landing on the COVID list.
Oh, and the Saints are still waiting to get head coach Sean Payton back in the fold after the head coach went on the COVID list late in the week before a showdown with the Bucs.
Book would be the first rookie quarterback to start a game for the Saints since Danny Wuerffel in 1997. The good news? The Saints are in excellent position to push for a playoff berth.
