There will be no quarterback change in New Orleans, at least not right now.

Dennis Allen announced that despite a pair of rough losses with a stifled offense, Andy Dalton will remain at quarterback. But why? Here's how WWL's Deuce McAllister broke it down this week on SportsTalk.

"It's a tough situation, because the premise was, because the offense was playing really well. The last two weeks the offense hasn't played well," McAllister said.

"We can say 'well, they hadn't had this player, that player.' Yeah, that's true. All of that is true. But at the end of the day, it's about performance," McAllister continued. "And so for them to stick with Andy that kind of tells you from the mindset of where they were, and you know, we can say 'well, I don't know if Jameis is going to be 100%' and Coach Allen even said that himself. I don't know if he's going to be 100% at all the rest of the year. But to be honest, no player is actually 100% that plays in the NFL, you know, as far as for the rest of the year.

"It has to be something from a limitation standpoint, or they just felt look, offensively, this is what we're comfortable doing. We haven't executed well the last 2 weeks but we feel that Andy gives us the best chance to go out there and do what we need to do and that's what they're going with."

The Saints have lost back-to-back games and have fallen to 3-7 ahead of a return to the Caesars Superdome in Week 11 when they'll host another scuffling team in the L.A. Rams.
