In the wake of another disappointing New Orleans Saints loss Thursday night, one that put a serious dent in their postseason aspirations, one of the team's most illustrious alums made his thoughts on the team's current predicament clear on social media.
Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen posted on X (formerly Twitter) that "Saints fans deserve better."
However, the man who served as coach of the Saints during the most successful years of Andersen's tenure in New Orleans had strong feelings to the contrary.

Mora defended the effort of the Saints' players and coaches during his rant rebuking Andersen's observation.
However, the fact still remains that the Saints at 6-8 on the season have a very slim path to the playoffs as they stare down their final two games of the season, rematches against two divisional opponents who each beat the Black and Gold in their previous matchups this season.
