The Saints are getting the ink ready on a deal for their new quarterback in Derek Carr, and while it's not official quite yet -- these two words make it feel pretty close.

"Who dat," Carr tweeted, along with a fleur de lis emoji and a video of Tyrann Mathieu leading the Who Dat chant at the Caesars Superdome in the 2022 season.

The tweet came a bit more than an hour after news broke that the Saints and Carr were closing in a 4-year deal to add him as their new quarterback, reuniting the 2014 second-round pick with the head coach who drafted him and opted to start him as a rookie that year.

But Carr wasn't alone in sharing the vibes of a big-name quarterback heading to the big easy.

Alontae Taylor: "Big moves. Let's get it"

Cam Jordan: "Told ya black and gold looks better."

But the most interesting response came in the form of Mike Thomas: "Thank you Jesus."

Thomas appears set to be cut after his deal was reworked earlier this offseason, but there's the potential he returns on a new deal. If his comment was actually in reference to Carr, that possibility might have just gotten much more likely.
