The New Orleans Saints' season has been a bit of a rollercoaster in general, but the start to a Week 5 matchup against Washington was extreme even by those standards.
The game started with an interception on the Saints' opening drive with Jameis Winston targeting Taysom Hill, followed by a 72-yard bomb for a touchdown to Deonte Harris. Winston fumbled on the next possession and the Saints fell behind 13-7 early.

Midway through the second quarter both Harris and Hill had left the game with injuries. Hill's injury was a scary one, with Washington cornerback William Jackson coming in late and spearing the Saints QB across the helmet as he stretched to try to haul in a deep ball.

Hill was down on the field in clear discomfort after the play with trainers attending to him on the field. He was able to sit up as he was carted off the field and back into the locker room. His status the rest of the way is unknown.
Jackson picked up a personal foul on the play, but it wasn't reviewed for a potential ejection.
Harris was announced as questionable to return with a hamstring injury. Saints running back Alvin Kamara finished off the drive with his first touchdown run of the season. Newly signed kicker Cody Parkey missed the extra point attempt and the score was tied 13-13 late in the first half.
