Louisiana State Senator Michael Fesi allegedly received a rather angry voicemail this week after voting to override the state’s governor’s veto on a bill that would ban transgender care for minors, specifically puberty-blockers, hormone treatment, and gender-altering surgery.

The message, shared on Twitter by Greg Price, is allegedly from LSU graduate student Marcus Venable. In the voicemail, Venable shares his disdain for Fesi’s vote, along with several insults. Now, Venable will no longer be teaching at the university, according to WAFB.

“I just wanted to say congratulations to our state senator Big Mike Fesi and the f***ing moron voted to make things worse for people who are already suffering,” Venable allegedly said. “You fat f***ing piece of sh**.”

Venable allegedly went on to criticize the legislation, saying that Fesi and his fellow conservatives showed no evidence to back their claims.

“You did not produce any god d*** evidence to support the claims you made about people being harmed by transgender care. Yet we have tons of empirical evidence showing there’s an increased suicide risk if people don’t get this care,” Venable is accused of saying.

In ending his voicemail, Venable can be heard wishing ill on the state senator, using numerous expletives.

"So you, you big fat-headed motherf*****, I can’t wait to read your name in the f***ing obituary," the professor allegedly said. "I will make a god d*** martini made from the tears of butt-hurt conservatives when we put your f***ing a** in the ground. You fat f***ing useless piece of sh**.”

Price alleged in a follow-up tweet that they were able to identify the message was allegedly left by Venable after Fesi reported it to his local authorities, who then tracked his number.

Price also shared screenshots of Venable’s RateMyProfessor page, in which three anonymous reviews of the teacher alleged he “pushed” his ideology on students and sometimes cursed at them.

State lawmakers were able to override Gov. John Bel Edwards’ veto this week, allowing for the legislation to go through, preventing transgender care for minors.
