NOPD says bullets were flying once again Tuesday night along the I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East near Bullard Ave.
"We are working a double shooting that occurred around 9:14 p.m., in the 12100 block of North I-10 Service Road," Public Information Officer Juan Barnes said in an email. "Two adult males were shot at the location."
He says EMS transported one victim to a local hospital. The other victim was transported in a private vehicle.
"One of the victims died at the hospital. The other is listed in stable condition."
As violent crime surges in the city, the I-10 Service Road has been the scene of a growing numbers of shootings.
