A woman is in the hospital after being shot in the Seventh Ward.
According to New Orleans Police Department spokesperson Reese Harper, that shooting happened around 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Franklin and St. Claude Avenues.
Harper says initial reports indicate that the victim suffered at least one body wound. An EMS crew took the victim to the hospital.
