Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry says he will sign a bill that mandates the Old Testament's Ten Commandments be displayed in all public school classrooms in the state.

It is likely to draw legal challenges based on the separation of church and state, and Landry says that is what he's hoping for.

"I can't wait to be sued," said Landry according to a report by our partners at NOLA.com.

The U.S. Supreme Court struck down a similar law in Kentucky, in 1980.

Rep. Dodie Horton (R-Haughton), who authored the bill, believes the current supreme court will uphold it. She said her bill is not about establishing a state religion, but is meant to instruct students on "guidelines" to moral behavior.
