The Louisiana Department of Health reports 2,838 patients in Louisiana hospitals for treatment of COVID-19. That's the fifth straight day of declines, and 161 fewer patients than Friday's report.
According to LDH, 91 percent of the people currently hospitalized for COVID-19 are not fully vaccinated. That is more than 2,500 patients.

The state reports 10,950 total new cases since Friday. The total number of confirmed and probable cases in Louisiana through the entire pandemic is 660,804.
