A front is bringing the state better feeling air.

"Less humidity will be here today and tomorrow," WWL TV Meteorologist Alexa Trischler forecast.  "While high temperatures will still heat up to the lower 90s, it'll be breezy and less muggy."

She says, however, the muggies return for Friday through Labor Day.

"The weekend, reality comes back into the picture," Trischler said.  "We do have humidity coming back."

She says highs will be in the 90s, feeling even hotter.  There will be some showers.

"Rain and storm chances will increase for Labor Day Weekend... Luckily, high temperatures will only be in the upper 80s to lower 90s this weekend."
