2 dead newborns found at New Jersey recycling center

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after two deceased newborns were discovered inside a recycling center in New Jersey on Wednesday.Authorities the bodies were found at a facility on Industrial Drive.New Brunswick police responded to the commercial business and recovered the first newborn at approximately 9:20 a.m.

After further investigation at the facility, officials recovered the second newborn about six hours later.The investigation is "active and continuing," a joint statement from Acting Middlesex County Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony Caputo said.

They added that autopsies are pending by Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner's Office.Offiicials urge anyone with information is asked to call Det. Raymond Quick of the New Brunswick Police Department at (732) 745-5200.
