
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after two men were shot in an apparent drive-by shooting that occurred in Queens early Thursday.
Officials say the men were sitting in their car around 4:25 a.m., on Steinway Street and 36th Avenue when shots rang out.
One victim, 35, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital after being shot in his arms, leg and face.
The second victim, 26, was shot in the arm and leg and was transported to Mount Sinai Queens in a private vehicle, according to police.
Police believe the gunman drove up in another car, opened fire, and drove away.So far, no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
