NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two teenage boys were struck in a shooting on a Brooklyn street Monday night, according to police.
Officials responded to a 911 call for two men shot at around 10:25 p.m. on Tapscott Street, near Sutter Avenue, in Brownsville.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two boys, ages 16 and 17, with gunshot wounds.
The teens told police that they heard shots and then suddenly felt pain.
One teen was shot in the groin and arm. The other was struck in the back but managed to run home to his apartment on nearby Howard Avenue, the Daily News reports.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police described their condition as "stable."
No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
