NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two women were slashed following a dispute between two couples in Midtown on Thursday, police confirm.
A verbal dispute ensued between two couples at approximately 1:21 p.m. at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue, officials said.
The argument escalated and a man slashed one woman in the arm and the other in the back, authorities said.
The woman slashed in the back was taken to an area hospital, according to police.
The victim slashed in the arm refused medical attention.
An arrest was made police confirm, although charges are still pending.
