NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A bicyclist was fatally struck by a school bus filled with children in Central Park on Wednesday morning, making it the 29th cyclist to die this year.
A large yellow school bus full of kids, hit the 50-year-old bicyclist on the park's 96 Street transverse at approximately 7:51 a.m., officials say.The victim, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition but later died.
No injuries were reported from the children on board the bus.
An investigation remains ongoing.
