
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Nassau County officials announced Thursday they recovered 22 illegal firearms, 148 grams of what is believed to be cocaine, assorted pills as well as chemicals that can be used to create explosives.
Police officers responded to the Farmingdale home to check on the well-being of a resident and were given permission to enter the home when the firearms, powder and liquid chemicals were spotted,
A book titled "The Preparatory Manual of Explosives Fourth Edition, Vol. 1." was also found.
Authorities arrested 33-year-old Daniel Petrizzo, 32-year-old Tiffany Pawson, and 35-year-old Eddie Fernandez, 35, all of Farmingdale, were placed under arrest.
They face charges including multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and reckless endangerment.
