NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people were killed in two separate shootings in eastern Queens Monday, police said.

Two men were shot to death in a car in Rosedale Monday night.

They were discovered around 9:25 p.m. on 255th St. by 149th Dr., according to police and their identities have not yet been released.

Earlier in the day, a man, 21, was found shot to death in a car in Laurelton.

The victim was sitting in a Dodge Charger on Springfield Ave. at 140th Ave. at about 3:45 p.m. when his killer shot at him five or six times, hitting him in the chest and buttocks, police say.

The unidentified man was brought to Jamaica Hospital but was pronounced dead there, according to officials.

Police say it's too soon to tell if the killings are related but reportedly do not suspect so.

Investigators say they have reason to believe that the victim in Laurelton may have stolen from a gang member and they're looking into whether the shooting was in retaliation for that.

No arrests have yet been made in either case.
