3 men sought in connection to 2 violent robberies in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are asking for the public's assistance to identify three men wanted in connection to two violent street robberies that occurred within an hour in Queens. 

On Feb. 4, just before 3 p.m., police say the three suspects approached a 46-year-old man in front of 160-15 122 Avenue in Jamaica.


The group began to punch the victim and threw him to the ground. They forcibly removed approximately $200 dollars, a cellphone, a driver's license, one credit card, one debit card, and three gift cards.

They then fled southbound on 157 Street.

The victim refused medical attention.

About an hour later, just before 4 p.m., officials say the three men approached a 14-year-old boy in front of 103-64 97 Street in Ozone Park.

Two of the men displayed firearms and demanded the teen's property, police say.

One of the suspects put a firearm to the victim's back while the other two proceeded to forcibly remove the boy's jacket, cellphone, sneakers, hooded sweatshirt, laptop, and backpack from the victim.

Authorities say they group fled northbound on 97 Street. 

The victim refused medical attention.
