NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police officials are searching for three suspects in connection to a robbery pattern in the Bronx, where the suspects communicated with the victims through the Snapchat app.
Officials report that once the female suspect meets with the victims at a specified location, she would request the victims to wait for her as she goes to the store.
At such time, the other two suspects assault the victims and forcibly remove their respective property at knife point, police say.
The first incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 11, inside the fourth floor of 846 East 175 Street, where a 15-year-old male victim had the his sneakers, Apple i-Phone 8 Plus and $70 cash taken from him according to reports.
The second incident occurred at approximately 8:13 p.m., on July 11, on the fourth floor of 846 East 175 Street, where police say a 22-year-old male victim had had a Samsung Galaxy S7 cell phone and a debit card removed from his possession.Officials say the third incident occurred on July 19, just before 11:30 p.m.,a 23-year-old male victim had a Samsung Galaxy S9 cell phone and a debit card taken from him at the corner of 3rd Avenue and East 173 Street.Each victim refused medical attention.
Police have identified and arrested, a 16-year-old female, but three other individuals are still at large.
Authorities are still searching for a black male, dark complexion, 165 pounds, approximately 5'8" tall with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike t-shirt, black sweatpants with white stripes and black sneakers.Police are also searching for a second black male, dark complexion, 170 pounds, approximately 5'9" tall with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing an Echo Unlimited olive sweatjacket with white lettering on the front, black pants, a white t-shirt and blacksneakers.A female approximately 15 to 18-years-old that was observed in the company of the two of the suspects, is also wanted by police officials for questioning.
She is described as having a thin build, light complexion with brown hair and glasses.
She was last seen wearing black jeans, a red tank top, sneakers and a backpack.Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
