NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Thirty people, including children, were injured Friday morning when a school bus collided with two cars in Brooklyn.
The crash happened at 9:18 a.m. at Avenue U and East 60st Street in the Mill Basin neighborhood.
Police arrested Trevor Eady, 26, of Brooklyn, and charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was the driver of the car, a black Nissan Maxima. The other vehicle was a gray Ford Explorer.
Five people were hospitalized; all were non-life-threatening injuries. Those hurt were taken to Brookdale Hospital.
Twenty-two children were on the bus and were among those taken to the hospital.
