NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials on Wednesday released a video of four NYPD officers that helped rescue a 19-year-old man from jumping from an open window on the Upper West Side last week.
Officers Officers Ibrahim Morsi, William Bodner, Nelson Gómez and Eugene Choi responded to a call of a suicidal man on the tenth floor apartment at West 86th Street, on Feb. 18, at 8:16 p.m., according to officials.
Police encountered a 19-year-old man armed with a knife, standing near an open window inside of one of the bedrooms, threatening to jump.
"When they arrived, he was holding a knife and then attempted to jump out of the 10th floor window, police said on Twitter."

As soon as the 19-year-old saw the officers, authorities say he jumped out of the window, but police were close enough to secure the victim, grabbing him by his legs as he dangled out of the window and prevented him from falling to the ground.
The officers were able to bring the victim back into the apartment and secured him to prevent further potential injury to himself or others.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Metropolitan hospital for evaluation.
"Many correctly call them 'heroes.' We call them 'officers.' To themselves, they were just doing their job," NYPD Commissioner Shea tweeted.
