NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Anderson Cooper announced "joyful news" on his show Thursday night: he's a dad.
"On Monday, I became a father," Cooper, 52, said. "I've never actually said that before, and it still kind of astonishes me. I am a dad. I have a son."
His son's name is Wyatt Morgan Cooper.
"He is named after my dad who died when I was 10 years old," he explained. Morgan is a name from the family tree of his mother Gloria Vanderbilt, who died last year.
