NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell Monday for a photo of his supporters posted on Instagram which appears to show one supporter groping and another choking a cardboard cutout of Ocasio-Cortez.

The photo showed seven young men wearing matching “Team Mitch” shirts.

They were posed around a cardboard cutout of Ocasio-Cortez.

One man appears to be attempting to kiss the cutout, and has his arm around it, while another has a hand nearly around the cutout’s neck.

Three others are pointing their thumbs down.

The Instagram was posted with the caption “break me off a piece of that” and appeared to have been taken at a McConnell reelection event at the Fancy Farm Picnic in Kentucky, according to Business Insider.

"Hey @senatemajldr – these young men look like they work for you,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Monday night. “Just wanted to clarify: are you paying for young men to practice groping & choking members of Congress w/ your payroll, or is this just the standard culture of #TeamMitch? Thanks."

A McConnell spokesperson told the Washington Post that the men in the photo were not affiliated with the campaign and that the campaign does not condone the image.
