NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police officers have arrested a number of demonstrators at a protest in Manhattan, the NYPD said Tuesday.
Videos posted to social media Tuesday evening show several people being arrested near Madison Square Park.
They just rushed us, tackled us, maced us, beat us with batons. We fell back and they followed us to Madison Square Park and did it again. Violent arrests made. We were marching. That's it. pic.twitter.com/Niiv1fBzl6
