
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- At least five firefighters were taken to the hospital on Wednesday in a three-alarm warehouse fire in the Bronx.
Officials were called to the flames shortly after 2:30 p.m. at a warehouse located at 551 East 179th Street next to a Con Edison power plant in the Belmont section.

The firefighters were sent to an area hospital to be evaluated, officials said.
There were 7 propane tanks on the roof, some of which have fallen through the roof, fire officials said.
Traffic was closed along East 179th Street over concerns about propane tanks in the building.
