NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One man was killed in one of at least six shootings that happened overnight as gun violence continues to surge across New York City.
At 10:38 p.m. on Sunday, officials reported to a call of shots fired in Brooklyn.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
About an hour later, police responded to a report of shots fired in Flatbush.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. near Dorchester Road and Flatbush Avenue.According to police, a 46-year-old man was shot in the leg.
He was transported to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the victim was highly uncooperative.
At approximately 12:15 a.m., on Monday, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in East FlatbushOfficials responded to 5 East 93rd Street and discovered a man that was shot in the buttocks.
He was transported to Kings County Hospital for treatment.At approximately 12:26 a.m., two men were shot at 660 Gates Avenue in Bed-Stuy.
Both victims remain in stable condition.
According to police, a black sedan was seen fleeing the scene, and confirm there were four shell casings found on the ground.
No arrests were made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
Just after midnight, authorities responded to a call of shots fired in the Bronx
Upon arrival, officials discovered a man had been shot in the leg at 2134 Vyse Avenue in the West Farms section.
He was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.Shots were fired just before 1 a.m. on Monday injuring on man in Manhattan, police said.
The shooting occurred at 6th Avenue and East 25th Street in Chelsea.
The victim was shot in the leg and taken to a local hospital, officials said.
There were over 30 shootings over the weekend, leaving at least six people dead, officials said.
