NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman scratched at least two teen girls and stole their eyeglasses off their faces in a strange string of robberies in Queens.
The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect—a 30-something-year-old woman—on Friday.
The two robberies happened earlier this month at the 33rd Street station in Long Island City, which serves the 7 train.
The woman first attacked a 19-year-old, ripping off her glasses and clawing her face, police said.
Minutes later, the woman went up to a 14-year-old girl and grabbed her glasses and scratched her face.
Neither of the victims was seriously injured.
