MIDDLESEX COUNTY N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Officials determined that the body that was recovered Sunday afternoon in a wooded area is of missing New Jersey woman Stephanie Parze, 25.

County prosecutors discovered the body off of Route 9, in Old Bridge, near where search parties had previously looked. The medical examiner scheduled an autopsy Monday morning to determine if the remains were Parze's.A report from NBC New York said that the body was fairly decomposed.Parze disappeared on Halloween Eve, after she dropped her parents off at their house following a night out with family.Officials say Parze's lights inside her home in Freehold Township were still on and her car and phone were still in the driveway, but no sign of her.

Parze's home was approximately 25 minutes from where the body was found. In November, Parze's ex-boyfriend, John Ozbilgen, was found in his home, dead by suicide just days after being named a person of interest in the 25-year-old's disappearance by Monmouth County prosecutors.

According to prosecutors, Ozbilgen was previously accused of assaulting her and sent Parze several angry text messages the night before her disappearance.

During a 911 call, NJ.com reports that Parze's mother said that Ozbilgen might have stayed with Stephanie the night before she vanished."He said that he saw her last night. He stayed there and he was getting ready for work this morning and has not heard from her since all day," her mother, Sharlene Parze, told a 911 dispatcher Oct. 31.Like 1010 WINS on Facebook and follow @1010WINS on Twitter to get breaking news, traffic, and weather for New York City.
