NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" has made more than $2 billion worldwide by its second weekend in theaters, and it's shaping up to be the highest-grossing film of all time.
So far the film has brought in more than $2.189 billion worldwide since its theater debut last weekend, according to CNBC, which reports that is the fastest a film has ever surpassed the $2 billion mark at the box office.
"Endgame" is now on its way to dethroning "Avatar," the highest-grossing film ever. It made $2.789 billion during its run back in 2009.

It has already surpassed such legendary blockbusters as "Titanic" and "Jurassic Park."
According to CNBC, "Endgame" may haul in between $2.7 billion and $3.5 billion globally.
So far the film has earned $145.8 million in the U.S. this weekend alone, for a total of $620 million nationally since it was released.
