NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Armed with a clean bill of health, Tina Knowles-Lawson is gearing up for a family-packed Mother's Day with daughter Beyoncé and the rest of the family.
In an interview with Extra, she said she's eager to be with everyone after quarantining apart -- and after getting tested for coronavirus.
"We all got tested and we are corona-free as far as I know, so we’re gonna get together on Sunday and have dinner," Knowles-Lawson, 66, said. "I get to see them and that’s gonna be the best Mother’s Day present ever."
She added, “I can’t wait to hold them.”
The mother-daughter duo are also teaming up this weekend to launch a coronavirus testing initiative in their hometown of Houston.
Beyoncé's philanthopic initiative BeyBOOD is partnering with her mom for a campaign called #IDIDMYPART.
"The virus is wreaking havoc on the black community so we need a movement to prioritize our health," Knowles-Lawson previously said in a press release.
The mobile testing relief campaign will administer 1,000 free tests, 500 each on Saturday and Sunday at two middle schools by medical workers.
