NEW YORK (1010 WINS) Mayor de Blasio's actions all seem to point towards a 2020 presidential run, points out the New York Times.

De Blasio has been coy about his presidential ambitions, saying both that he hasn't ruled anything out and that he will come to a decision "sooner than later."

He's travelled to Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, three early primary states.

He's hosted fundraising dinners around the country.

He also has employed two members of his staff on campaign business during their private time.

De Blasio created a political action committee, Fairness PAC to support Democratic candidates and to cover his and his wife's political travels outside of the city.

Unfortunately for the mayor, New Yorkers seem to have significantly less enthusiasm for a potential run.

A Quinnipiac University poll released this week found that 76 percent of New York City voters felt de Blasio should not run and 47 percent of voters believed a run would be bad for the city.
