NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A seven-year-old boy died Wednesday afternoon in Far Rockaway, Queens, after he was struck by a church van and pinned between it and the school bus he had just gotten off.
The incident took place shortly before 3 p.m. at 10-62 Gipson Street.
The boy -- who was identified as Cameron Brown -- was walking behind the bus when he was hit by the van, which is from God of Pentecostal Church. The driver of the van is 22-years-old.
Following the incident, the child was taken to St. John's Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
