Fresh off of his Broadway run, Bruce Springsteen has announced that he'll be releasing a new album on June 14.

Past Springsteen albums have featured plenty of hemi-power screaming down the Jersey Shore's boulevards, but if Twitter is any indicator 'Western Stars' will be heavy on horse power -- the other kind.
Springsteen said the album draws inspiration from the southern California pop records of the 60s and 70s. He'll be releasing a song and video called 'Hello Sunshine' after midnight.
The release comes on the heels of Springsteen's 236-show Broadway run which rapped up in December. The album was primarily recorded in New Jersey, and features appearances from Ron Aniello, Patti Scialfa, Jon Brion, David Sancious, Charlie Giordano, and Soozie Tyrell.
"This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character-driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements,'' he said. "It's a jewel box of a record.''
Among the song titles are "Hitch Hikin','' "Sleepy Joe's Cafe,'' "Chasin' Wild Horses'' and "There Goes My Miracle.''
