NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Britain's Health Minister has tested positive for coronavirus, she announced on Tuesday.
Nadine Dorries, also a Conservative Member of Parliament, said she is in self-quarantine at home. She added that she had taken all of the recommended precautions after learning she is positive.
"Thanks for so many good wishes," Dorries, 62, tweeted. "It's been pretty rubbish but I hope I'm over the worst of it now. More worried about my 84yo mum who is staying with me and began with the cough today. She is being tested tomorrow. Keep safe and keep washing those hands, everyone."
The U.K. has 382 cases of coronavirus. There have been six deaths related to the virus so far.
