NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 9-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle Friday in Brooklyn.
Police recieved the report of the incident that happened on the corner of E 23 and Avenue D in the Flatbush section at 12:43 a.m.
He was rushed Maimondes Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Authorities say the 32-year-old driver had the right of way and stayed on scene after the accident.
He was given breathlyzer and taken into custody.
