Capital One branch in Chelsea robbed, after suspect passes teller note

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Capital One bank branch on Eighth Avenue in Chelsea was robbed Monday afternoon, the NYPD confirmed to 1010 WINS.

The suspect passed a note to the teller -- it is unclear what message, if any, the note contained -- and he then fled with the stolen money. The amount of money is unclear.

According to the Citizen App, the suspect is a white male, 5'7," with blonde hair, black clothes, a backpack, and his arms are covered in tattoos.
