NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bronx rapper Cardi B announced on Wednesday that she has teamed up with online boutique Fashion Nova to help families affected by the coronavirus.
They will be giving out $1,000 every hour to families needing to pay bills or purchase food, until they reach $1 million.
"Thank you guys for supporting me and @FashionNova, I teamed up with them to help those that have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic," Cardi posted on Instagram. "Many of you are struggling to pay bills, feed your families, and take care of your overall essential needs. #FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we've given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by this crisis."
In order to qualify, hopefuls must tell the rapper in an Insatgram post how the money can help during "these trying times."
