FRANKFORT, Ky. (1010 WINS/AP) -- Fans of the classic sports car will be revved up for the big changes that General Motors plans to make on their next generation Corvette.
General Motors confirms that the engine in the new model is being moved from under the hood and instead placed between the passenger compartment.
The rear wheels will also have a "mid-engine'' design.
Chevy released a preview of the Corvette's new look but the sports car will officially be revealed on July 18.
