COPIAGUE, NY (1010 WINS) -- A man has been arrested in the stabbing death of his wife inside of their Copiague home on Monday.

Wayne Alcus, 49, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his 55-year-old wife Patricia. He was to be arraigned on Tuesday.
Cops say the couple's 18-year-old son tried to intervene by grabbing the knife, resulting in an injury to his hand.
A motive for the attack has not yet been determined.
