NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — In his quest for the presidency, Mayor Bill de Blasio has agreed to be interviewed by one of his fiercest critics, Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Hannity will speak to de Blasio on Wednesday at 9 p.m.
His talk with the mayor will focus on the 2020 race and de Blasio’s candidacy.
Hannity has frequently lambasted de Blasio, including posting a video entitled “The Worst of Mayor Bill de Blasio” on Facebook and a post labeled “De Blasio unglued” on his web site.
De Blasio has criticized Fox News often in the past.
When asked on NY1’s Inside City Hall with Errol Louis Monday night why he had agreed to appear on the network he said it’s right to “acknowledge that millions of millions of Americans are watching (Fox News) and we shouldn’t stereotype them.”
De Blasio is polling at one percent in the Democratic primary.
